Southern Girls Rock N Roll Camp!

I had so much fun today volunteering @ the Southern Girls Rock N Roll Camp. I tried to help contribute to the songwriting workshop.... the girls wrote a blues number called....."Stinky Feet".... I also helped with the band Random Acts of Stupidity, whose single was "Awkward Silence". They ROCK!!!

And the showcase...holy moly dudes!...it was awesome...fog, lights, excellent costumes, hair, makeup...(shoot, I hope to play a rock show like that some day! haha).

Very Fun...very cool cause....very cool new friends. I can't wait till next year!

Junk Gypsy

I'm so inspired by these ladies' story and vibe......and it made me realize, this is so much like me!...i've been collecting random unique one of a kind junk ...necklaces....belts....shoes....forever but never really knew how to put them all together for outifts and such. These ladies made me realize...it doesn't matter...there is no right way....HAVE FUN with it...throw it together...be a junk gypsy. I wish they would swing by and pick me up, and take me with them!...

Excited too soon?

I've always been interested in fashion and modeling....using clothes to express yourself has always been so interesting to me. Because I'm so freakishly skinny I've always been told...you should be a model...so I'm gonna try it. I auditioned for a modeling agency about a month ago and got accepted! They suggested that I do test shoots to practice for when I can actually afford to get "industry standard" photos taken and get a start on a portfolio. So I've been trying to hunt down photogs that will do TFP...or Time for Print. Basically they use the pics for their websites or portfolio, and the model gets to keep the pics to add to their porfolio as well. So its a good thing for both parties.

I did manage to find a photog a month or so ago...but for some reason he quit responding to my messages...hmmm...but I found another a few days ago that does amazing work and seems like a very fun and most of all creative guy...and he has agreed to do a shoot with me. We've agreed to go with a country but edgy vibe. So I went looking/shopping for outfit ideas....mostly jewelry...






But, I'm not going to spend anymore time planning until I know for sure its on.... I always find myself getting excited and then get let down. I'm just glad though to have this time in my life to chase this dream and others... I'm very fortunate.
